Update on "The Buick Farm"

Many of you already know that The Buick Farm has been sold recently. A week or so ago, their website no longer worked for me, but tonight I see they have some new information posted about the sale, and where everything is going. I'll copy it here:

SPECIAL NOTICE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

In current issues of the many Old Car magazines, we had advertised that we would be starting our "Going Out of Business" sale. Since the time that the ads were sent to these publications The Buick Farm has been purchased in it's entirety by Doug and Monika Dougherty of Delaware.
We have had the pleasure of knowing Doug and Monika for almost 20 years now and are thrilled that they have decided to take over our business and continue to provide the Buick hobbyist with quality NOS Buick Parts.

Along with his love of Buicks, Doug has worked in the Service and Parts Dept. of a Buick Dealership in Delaware for many years. His expertise lies in the 60's Buicks but he is familiar with earlier and later years also. We have no doubt that Doug and Monika will provide you with excellent service and keep that Buick tradition alive.

While the transition of moving all of these NOS parts from Florida to Delaware takes place, you will not be able to place any orders for parts, but PLEASE check back frequently for further announcements on the Grand Re-Opening in March.

To all of our longtime customers, it has been a pleasure doing business with you but it is time for us to move on and enjoy a slower pace of life.

Doug Dougherty is a long time buick guy and has been involved with the TriState GS chapter of the GSCA and starting the Fall meet at Cecil County Drags known at the East Coast Regional meet in October.
Doug is a 65 GS nut with a 65 GS conv that is under a long term resto and a GS that most people have seen at the GS NATS for many years, a Black 65 2 door post GS with a 455 and 2.56 gears that he drives to the NATS and runs 11.50's (with the help of NOS)and then get great mileage going home.
Doug is a great Buick guy and will be a pleasure to do business with!
