Ok- Well I am sending the MOCK-up center section to Brad at Fabcraft today. THis is give him the parts he needs to measure and do all the specs so we get the parts absolutely right on.

I know things are moving slow...BUT we must get this correct to have a successful launch of these gears. We all want gears that will perform like a gm set, correct? So that is the reason for the careful steps. I would love to see them yesterday too.

I just wanted to keep you all in the loop and let you know WE ARE WORKING ON IT AND IT IS MOVING FORWARD!

One more request that would make things much easier ...does anyone have a gear set in good condition (3.42 ). This gear will NOT be ruined or cut or messed up in anyway or form and will be return back in the same condition as it was sent in. We just would love to have an original gear to measure from. Makes things alot easier for everyone.

So If you have a gear we could borrow for a month or 2 it would be greatly appreicated for the cause. I am sure a discount is in order for the person offering this help!!! :kodak: :Brow:

Take care and hope everyone is having a great spring so far.

Any update on the status of the 3.64 gears?

Also, i noticed on your website you sell 10 bolt 8.2 gears with 27 spline...will that work for replacing a 2.56 open rear in a 69 with the 8.2 10 bolt? You had the gears i would want for sale for 249 correct?

I really just want to keep my carrier and everthing just replace pathetic 2.56 open with 3.55 -3.93 posi.

Do those work? or will i have to wait on the current batch your are working on?

What did the cost come out to be? Ill ask my pop if he has a good set of 342s. Do you need the pinion gear also? How far are you from Columbus, Centerville or Mt Vernon? Could have em hand delivered if possible.

Troy...yes we need both if they are in good condition. I will talk to brad (fab craft guy building the gears ) to definetely get you in the loop of a major discount gear if not better... The gears will not be harmed in anyway and will be insured when shipped for 400.00 .

Cost on the gears is undetermined as of yet. IT WILL NOT BE HIGHER THAN RICHMOND...I AM HOPING TO CUT THAT DOWN. please stay tooned. I will always keep you all in the loop as soon as there is good info to pass along.

Troy please PM me and I will get you a good direct number to call me at for the info on the gears. Jim Mitschke
