Hey guys, its been a long time, over a year, since I've been on this awesome forum. Scrolling through all the threads, looks like I've missed a lot. The last year and a half has been pretty hectic. My local engine shop closed its doors after almost 30 years. I started my career as a Ready-Mix truck mechanic, and i purchased a 69 Chevy C20 pickup. My nailhead is currently sitting in the corner of my garage in an engine bag with a blanket over it with the wrong valve springs installed in the heads. The only thing that on got done on the entire car last year was the trans. It wasn't until yesterday i got the most motivation to start working on my Riv again for the first time in over a year. While out with my 69 C20, I saw a black, custom 64 Riviera. The car was clean as a whistle. I was awestruck at how nice it was. And then I remembered i had a first gen Riv of my own. I plan on having the engine finished asap. And pulling the body off the frame and having a finished rolling frame to set the body back down on by the end of summer. Hope everyone here has been well, and I'm looking forward to being on here much more often. :TU:
