    Hello all,

I've got an unused black vinyl upholstery set from Legendary Auto Interiors. It is in like-new condition, with zero blemishes on the vinyl; only I don't have a car to install it into anymore! The upholstery was purchased for a 65 Skylark coupe, and if I remember correctly, cost right at or just north of $1,000. I don't know if 1965 is the only model year it will fit- maybe someone else here can chime in on that.

Included is everything you see below; upholstery for the tops and bottoms of the front buckets, top and bottom for the rear bench, and also the rear armrest covers.

I'm located in Missouri. I'm asking $400, and at that price, I'll include shipping.

    Andrew,
What you have is for a '65 Skylark/ GS hardtop and is '65 specific. The fronts are correct for hardtop and convert. The back is most likely hardtop. I'm judging the back, based on the arm rest cover having only the lower part.

    Andrew,

Has it been in a box since 2002? Is the material still flexible or is it hard? The price is out of my range at this time but was just curious how it's been holding up in a box for possibly 10 years.

Thank you for the clarification on what this will fit. I just checked the tag Legendary attached to the rear upholstery, and it does indeed say 'HTP', which I imagine would be 'hardtop'.

    Hello Brian,

The material is pliable. It feels as soft as the five-year-old vinyl trim pieces in my garage-kept MGB. The box the upholstery was in was in a climate controlled room at my parent's home.

I placed one of the top covers outside in the sun (69 degrees here) for ten minutes, and it's as floppy as a black vinyl fish.

I've adjusted the price on here to reflect a discrepancy in my memory that a forum member was kind enough to point out!

I still remember paying around $1K total cost, but I think it included a carpet kit that was installed and actually went with the car when I sold it. I've knocked the price down to 40% less than what Legendary sells these exact parts for, or $400, which still includes shipping.

Again, a big thank you to the forum member who pointed this out to me!
