I did a little search of my own as well, just goes to show that you can sell about anything on ebay as long as you got a good story to back it up with you can sell it. Who's to say an evil Chinaman didn't get melted down in that rubber ducks batch??? I had a similar experience with a rock as a kid. I made a high pressure nozzle for the hose and dug a hole with it very deep in the ground. This funny strange looking rock came up after some time. I carried the rock around all day and strange unnatural things were happening. The one that stick in my mind was a fan that was leaned back at atleast a 45 some how stood up and tried to fall on me as I walked by. It was an older steel blade fan with no guards. That was the last straw and I was freaked out. I grabbed a bible from the other room and stacked it and prayer cards around the rock till morning. Then wrapped it up and threw it in the creek.
Look at the sellers user name " tarot*for*you " I have seen ghost in a jar on ebay before. With a long story of them being dug up in an old grave yard with strange crap inside. And when one was accidentally broken open a strange mist floated away. Funny as the jar lids were still shiny gold???
I seem to recall this being an older auction but the date is pretty recent. Maybe someone sold it again or has a few of them. This goes along with the "ghost in a jar" that was on ebay awhile ago.
my kid was the same way with his nock before dad took over whening him from it. took the nockk, cut the nip off with a siccors in front of him and the obsesion was over. a bit of a cry for the rest of the day but he never got another or did the wife buy another. he was 2 anyways and eating regular food so time for him to move on. thats the only obsession there. That doll one is pretty funny too. It's amazing what people will pay if you just whip up a good background on an item. Somebody should list an old soup can, say it magically refills itself, and was owned by Elvis, and see how much it brings.
ebay, a great place to sell your BS story. check the winners fb, and look at who gave him his neg, its from the current seller, and its for the same rubber duck. seller needs to learn to use his BBL. henry
