    Looks like they've been laying at the bottom of Lake Michigan for a little while.

    Sandblast and powdercoat or paint. Re-chroming them would cost too much unless someone needed date coded rims for their perfect resto, and these were it.

    Naval jelly will clean those right up. If that doesn't work try grape.

    Too many better cores around, even if these were free! These look like the 71 and later type---nothing rare, for sure.

    Anyone had a recent good experience getting wheels re-chromed? I'm seeing $$$, plus shipping both ways, with disclaimers that suggest you will need a perfect core to get acceptable results.
