i purchased a strange 3rd member-9 inch ford, for my racecar.it came with a 1350 yoke.i have a driveshaft that has a 1310 yoke.my question is-has anyone ran into this before?i found on the strange website a conversion u-joint #u1646 but would like specs on it before i order it from jegs.the 1310 yoke cross measurement is 3 3/16,1350 measurement is 3 5/8.one more request i have is it can't be a greasable joint,is joint u1646 greasable? i don't really want to get my 1 year old driveshaft redone to the larger yoke if i don't have to.

I've seen it before. You need the hybrid yolk which is half 1350 and half 1310. You will definitely find the weak link in your drivetrain.

You might want to consider getting a new end on your driveshaft so that you can use a true 1350 u-joint.
