Thinking of painting my roof white. What is the name of the
part/trim/chrome that separates the vinyl roof from the rest of
the car/goes from the end of rear window to end of rear window?
The line of demarcation for vinyl roof cars.
Cost of part or is there Repro's. Thanks,

two long ones on the side are stainless. Thwo small corner pices are chrome. Those are the tough ones and always pitted. I have tried to buy on ebay and the corner pieces always go high. Pretty easy to find used. No one repros. I just calll it vinyl roof trim. I do not think there is official name.

I really like the two tone scheme you are speaking of. Not sure what the trim is called though. Maybe something can be fabricated? Or maybe trim from another brand? Maybe a chevy part? Do you know any metal fab guys?

Thanks for the good info....in the latest issue of Hemmings
"Muscle Machines" May 2008 P.78 there is a GS clone with
a two tone paint job....looks pretty neat. I would
like to do the same. Antique Gold with a White painted top!:pp

Put in an ad for the parts in PArets wanted. Most Buick had vinyl tops so you should be able to find a set. I know a junkyard car around here that has some but maybe not convenient for you
