p I just wanted to mention a simple yet frustrating problem that I had on my car. I had installed a set of LED amber turn signals in the front of my 71. They worked fine for a while, but once I drove the car for a few weeks, the turn signals would not work with the headlights on. All I saw was both turn signal indicators light up in the dash at the same time, but no flashing. Turn the headlights off, they worked fine. I was tempted to start replacing turn signal switch and headlight switch (a nightmare I might add), but I had a thought to swap out the new LED bulbs. I put in brand new 1157's in the the front and lo and behold, they worked like new again. So a lesson learned from the old saying...K.I.S.S. Old filament-type bulbs work just fine. p :TU:
