    Nice 340!

I always have a peaked interest for 67 GS 340's. I bought one new in April of 67 and it was a silver car with a black top. I sold it a few months later to buy a house. In 1983 I was able to get it back with 36,302 miles on it. It was in cherry shape as a little old lady had it and it was driven very little and always garaged. I kept it until 1990, when I sold it to a guy in the midwest. There has been a nice one at the Nationals the last couple of years. I was working for a Buick dealer when I bought mine. I thought the stripes were "redneck", so I removed them and painted the scoops body color and the wheels black, which should both be red. It was a fun car but really just a 340 Special. I sold it in 90 to send my son to college and since he has a engineering degree and is a engineer and manger for GM, I guess it was a good deal. No regrets, as I enjoy my somewhat faster 67 GS 400 now.

The '67 was, IMHO, the sharpest year. If my parents had only waited a few more months.....

    71GS455 Best Package Wins!

It looks like he's upgraded to HEI too...

I remember seeing a 67 GS340 at a car show in Arlington, WA back when I had my 72 GS350. I don't think it was in the show, just sitting out in a parking lot.

I do like the dog dish hubcaps on our cars!

George, his name is ANDY. He lives in Levitown and said he also has a '67GS 'vert. He said he knows you! That's him in one of those pictures (but only a half a face).

GREAT looking car there, I wish, I wish. I am about one poke with dull stick away from unloading my street BBB stuff to search for a 340" driver like this one. Leave the big block stuff to the racecar.
