This is the STG 1 unit from TSP, with an advertised stall of 2700-3000RPM. Bought in mid 2008. Ran it for a week or so. Has less tham four hours of run time in front of a fresh tranny. Like new condition. I went in a different direction on this car. $350 Paypal accepted but not required. Ready to ship. The following thread has more about this converter http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=147066&highlight=TSP+9.5"+converter
Intrested, can you give specifics on what this was built for? What was the info that you gave TSP to have this built? If you could post it here or PM me with the info. Thanks
This converter was built for a 1971 full weight GS with 464, 10.75:1 comp,3.42 gear, A/C, TA288-98 cam, Gessler level 2 Edelbrock heads, and Gessler ported manifolds. The overall build ended up slightly more radical than this car's owner wanted so I tore it back down. I run switch pitch or lockup in all my own stuff so I will never need it. I did personally observe the stall RPM to be closer to 3000 than 2700. Nick first, Ken second at this point.
