There is movie out there, that I cannot find the name of. All I remember is that it was about hotrod racing with a 1941 willy's, and it took place in a small town. Lots of street race scene's and I know they showed it on TV a few times. If you remember the movie, or any other details, let me know. I am dying to find this and rewatch it, as it was an awesome vid. Guys used to roll up cigs in their white t-shirt sleaves as well. American Graffitti was not the movie I remembered from my childhood. Any idea's?

OOOH! Another good car movie is Hollywood Knights... It's got cool cars, drag racing, and cruzing at the local dog & suds. It has alot of big actors in it just when they were just getting started.

Willy's Movie is called" Hot Rod "best part is when they break into the Hot Rod museum to steal a Blower motor out of a past National winner and install it that night and then of course win the race the next day !!!!!!!!! Lawrence... Lawrence of Arabia... he's an English guy... came to fight the Turkish... Oh, Mrs. Freedman! Hey Bimbeau! You squirrels better have some nuts in your mouths, or you're going downtown! Turk! I'm ready Turk! I'm just gettin' some burger. Man, I could go on all day. I've watched that movie about 400 times. What a riot! They seriously flog the Projext X 57 Chevy. Looks as if Tony Danza is a car guy. He can drive a blown 57 4-speed!
Yardley; The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the Hollywood Knights post was the Lawrence of Arabia song. Absolutely histerical. My wife thinks I'm a chimp for liking that movie so much; a guilty pleasure for sure. Cool cars, cool music; a classic for sure. Not to mention "The Nanny" getting hot in the back of the Pie Wagon. This one is a must see and available now on DVD!
