Trunk trim nuts

    I’m not sure if this is the correct location for this , I didn’t see an exterior components. What are you guys using for nuts on the trunk trim for a 69 Skylark. I tried self cutting trim nuts however due to the short tab they are too deep. My original acorn nuts ha fallen off over the years I only have 3 left which causes the trim to rattle.

    Napa has the acorn nuts. Your napa should have a book of trim fasteners and you should find it there.

    My local ACE Hardware has these acorn nuts in the specialty fastener bins.

    I have both stores nearby, I’ll check tomorrow. That tape may hold moisture.

    No it won't, that is what it was made for. The emblems on my 98 Riv are held on with it from the factory.
