It has been 3 years since I started the off frame and now Iam putting the trunk filler plugs back in and my body man thinks somehow I ended up with the wrong plugs. these are the small round ones that go in the side of the trunk fillerpanels. I seem to remember that they had red gasket material on them and they are flat. I have looked a several other buick skylarks and they all have the hat style. So how did I end up with these?? Iam thinking the flat ones are the ones I pulled out. Anyone know what ones were on the 72??

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

The ones shaped like a hat are correct.

Use polyurethane sealer for the plugs....make a circular bead and then press down on the plug to seat them. Wipe the excess around with you finger.

I go to Home Depot and in the paint dept is black polyurethane Roofing and Flashing sealer in a caulking tube...works great!
