    Trunk Area Hardware Kit


    This is the correct hardware for your Trunk area. $16.00 Plus exact shipping.

    Kit includes the following:




      • 1) Zinc Ground Screw for Rear Light Harness (DO NOT PAINT)
      • 1) Zinc Screw for Trunk Light
      • 1) Trunk Lock Retainer Screw *
      • 4) Trunk Lid Mounting Bolts
      • 5) Trunk Latch and Striker Bolts

    Fits 1970 – 1972 Skylark, GS & GSX


    The correct stuff if you’re doing a Concours Restoration!

    * Note: There's been some debate (and some points lost) about this so hopefully this will set the record straight. . . . . GM used a Screw in some cars and a Rivet in other cars to secure the Trunk Lock Retainer. Both are correct! We supply the screw simply because we do not have a supplier for the correct “GM” rivet. I’m uploading the Fisher Body Service Manual Diagram to show that both were used and either should be accepted in any judging events! I've seen BOTH in use on the 1970 - 1972 cars and really can't answer why one was used over the other but as mentioned we've seen both over the years! As shown in the Diagram # 6 is listed as a Rivet of Screw and both are shown in the illustration as well.
