I just bought a 67 skylark and it needs the trunk floor replaced. I want to buy a 3 piece floor set plus the assorted brackets to complete this, however there seems to be a large number of sellers for these, Goodmark, Oldbuickparts.com, and various sellers on Ebay. the prices can vary by over $100 per set, so I was wondering what brands / sellers you guys have used? Please give me your opinion on quality and fit for the buck. I'm not going for a show car, just want a sold trunk so if it doesn't match 100% to original floor pattern, I'm not concerned so long as it all fits right. Thanks guys Jon
try and find a supplier near where you live so you can pick it up. Not too many manufacturers so go with best price otherwise.
Oh, this is Oregon, nothing is made out here. All the damn hippies and green freaks hate industry so we just chant around campfires and wonder why nobody has any money in this state. Sorry, mini rant there, but thanks for the idea, however there is nothing anywhere close, maybe California, but shipping charges are fairly consistent.
Sorry, just trying to be funny, I guess it failed there. Seriously tho, manufacturing is not very popular here, however there are a few restoration companies that stock a limited supply. I will go see them and if I can order from their stock I will, even if it takes an extra $20 out of my pocket. Avoiding shipping damage will be worth it. I do appreciate the advice, and will keep it to my other online communities since I don't go to bars.
I will rant about Hippies as well. I grew up in the middle of them in Cambridge Mass. Really looked down on my father when he returned from Viet Nam. Two houses up frome ours they even put out a North Vietnamese flag when he got back. I have no use for them either.
I'm in the PNW too. I get the Humor. Not as bad here but there again we hosted the WTO. We had a bunch of our own nuts joined by more from Oregon. Everyone knows what happenned. To get back on track, I saw a three puiece on Ebay for $199.00. Seems fair.

Dogboy thanks for your service. It is not juts the Hippie types trying to save the eco system but anyone with sense. However some of them do not have the science background to reaaly no what they talk about. Many are reactionaries.
