    Hi,

I am Fairly new to your site been watching it over the years and have a lot of knowledgeable people.

I am looking at a 64 skylark on-line from Southern CA originally the owner who has it now 2nd or 3rd has had it for 20 years and swears the paint is original

the thing I am questioning is the trunk is the body color although the factory mat is still partially glued to it, is this stock I thought all GM cars had Splatter paint Green or Gray never seen one with a body color??

    could this be factory?

thanks for any advice just don't want to buy hidden headaches and this is the only thing that really concerns me on the car would like to get a decent driver not a full blown project

    thanks again
    Jim

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

First thing to do.....remove the rubber/plastic/vinyl mat immediately...they are nothing but rust creators...........save it for car shows only.

Never seen any Buick with a body color trunk. All had splatter paint with gray on black or aqua on black paints.
