Are there any places that sell the correct trunk cardboard in sheets? I was thinking that I could make some new panels using the old ones as a template, rather than trying to track down pre cut/formed replacements. I don't think anybody makes them for full size Buicks anyway. Has anyone run across the correct material before? o No: You know, the right thickness and black on one side. Since they have that cut to fit hood insulation, it seems like there should be cut to fit cardboard available. David
There is a place called REM that can get the material. I need to find the # again, got it initially from Ron Fryer. I'll post # when I find it again! They made the package shelf for the 65 Wildcat too.
Phone #'s REM Automotive Inc. Box 241, Route 1, Brandt Road Annville, PA 17003, USA Voice: 717-838-4242 Fax: 717-838-5091 Email: rem@leba.net 1-800-736-2891 ask for Mike I ordered my package shelf through Harry Samuel Interiors, who is a Pontiac Interior specialist. Harry has been sick; but he must have known which parts were interchangable with the Buick- REM's person did not see the 65 Wildcat listed for anything yet I have the correct part sitting here. Gotta find somebody that can figure out which things interchange.
Package trays and other cardboard items For all of you who want the phone number for REM it is (800) 736-2891. Ron Fryer www.autoupholsterykits.com
