    Hi there,
vent window.jpg vent window frame bolt.jpg screws out.jpg
Well, first of all....I am armed and ready with this thread:

    http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.p...body)&highlight=removing+vent+window+assembly

I can't get the assemblies out though. How do you get enough room to get the front of the vent window frame off of that upper adjustment stud?

I removed the bottom bolt of the rear glass run channel and pushed the stud out of the bolt hole thinking I could push the window back, but it doesn't budge.

Do I need to get a stubbie screwdriver and turn that upper adjustment stud to remove it from the vent window frame? I will need to go buy one tomorrow if so....that is why I haven't tried that yet.

I have attached pics just in case someone can see that i am overlooking something. Thanks very kindly.

I just recently did this myself. There is a 7/16" head chrome bolt that holds the assembly that is located under the goop spl? in your # 2 pic.

    Hi Craig,

Thanks for your reply. I know the bolt you mean. Hard to see in the pic, but I got that one. The "goop" is my old weatherstripping. There isn't another one under the weatherstripping is there? Only the 2 fasteners on the leading edge?
