Trouble finding actual ID of engine in the Wildcat

    Am I correct in assuming that NO 425's in 1966 had Carter AFB's on them? If that is the case, then I just solved my mystery.

    MT is the 401, and you are correct that 425s came with a Quadrajet in 66. The engine would also be red if it was a 425 in 66.

    The 425 is red, even in the Wildcat? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info! I learn something new everyday!
