All: This would be for a 71' GS stg 1. Black bench interior. This also had the cheapo (skylark ) interior. Any other info needed ? Thanks for your help. Ken
Ken- Are you looking to create a new trim tag without the original? If so, the car's Fischer body number (not Vin #) would have been on the original. Unless you have other documents for your car that have that number you are outta luck. There's no factory information available for the '71 model year. Just an FYI....
Ken: I do have the orginal with the critical info I need. The lower part of the tag is pretty much destroyed. Thanks, Ken
According to my catalog, Black only for 71 GS's in: 108 A coupe only— REGULAR BENCH — COATED FABRIC 138 B conv only— REGULAR BENCH, CLOTH AND COATED FABRIC 158 C coupe only— NOTCH BACK BENCH, ALL COATED FABRIC 168 D coupe only— BUCKET, ALL COATED FABRIC But I don't see how this could be correct. My car is a 134 Sandalwood regular bench, cloth and coated fabric. What the heck is coated fabric??? All my seat covers were vinyl, no cloth sections...o No: Never mind, now I get it. I think the cloth is the back side of the front seat back, so I assume the other styles had the "terrific vinyl" on the back side too. Wooope.
Dan, you mean luxurious Expanded Madrid Grain Vinyl. Almost as nice as Rich Corinthian Leather.
