    Any help decoding the information in the trim tag on our '67 Electra 225 would be really appreciated. Currently, the car is a grayish-silver with black bench interior, and we'd like to know if this is original. Any other details would be great!

    TR 698-C P-2 PAINT
    E 2ET 3B

    67= year model

    4= Buick

    8457= Electra 225 Custom

    FL1 = Flint plant of manf

    7914 = Ficher sequence number

    TR 698-C = Black vinyl interior with the custom trim

    P-2 = Platinum Mist body and I believe the 2 is a black vinyl top

    The rest are accessory codes.

    Buick codes

    Hi. I`m just wondering if anyone can help me with codes. I have a 65 Buick Skylark GS and the tag has the usual info as well as these codes.
    W-2LFP-3H-4FS-5KW.
    Can anyone Tell me what these mean?
    Thanks, John

    I can give you some of these codes:

    Group 1, and 2 I don't have. Is your car a 4 speed? Does it have a tinted windshield?
    Group 3H is Belt reveal molding.
    Group 4F is Exterior remote mirror, the "S" I don't have.
    Group 5 K is Door edge guards, and W is seat belts with retractors.
