Im trying to decode the trim tag on my 71 GS to see if my paint, convertible top and interior are correct. The tags reads as follows: ST 71 43467FL1 147310 BDY TR 156 62 E PNT 04A The paint on the car is Bittersweet Mist. The top and interior is Saddle. If anybody can help with the codes, it would be greatly appreciated. Chris
ST 71 = 1971 model 4= Buick 34 = GS 67 = convert FL1 = Flint Plant of Mfg 147310 BDY= Fisher sequence number TR 156 = Vinyl notchback bench in saddle color 62 = Bittersweet mist body paint E = Sandelwood top ( I think as that is the closest option of the order form) 04A = Made the first week of April 1971
So that perfect body is indeed perfect :TU: Just need to sort out the sob that told you the motor was correct :moonu:
