Trick Springs front end weight

    putting springs in the front of a 69 skylark.

    Moroso says i might need to cut them to fit.

    Their 47200 spring, is for front end weight of 1750-1810lbs.

    What is the stock weight of a 69 Skylark???
    with a big block.

    that is the spring i used in my car(71)455 no a/c. it sits at stock hight. if you do a search you will find some good info on the different spring #s and how they worked out for different people.

    vehicle weight with out driver- hes too busy looking at the scales to think, I should get in the car...

    350 CID soon to be a BBB
    6 gallons of fuel, no spare tire, no air in bags and yes on change in glove box.

    FR=1060 must be AC compressor=80lbs
    FL= 980
    RR= 720
    RL= 730

    FRONT=2040
    REAR= 1450

    TOTAL= 3490 lbs

    Put in a set of QA1's last night,
    wow smooth like butter on #4

    can't wait to play at the track!!!

    So, it's looking like the 47200 will be the ticket.


    1750-1810lbs
    260lb spring rate
    17 1/2" free ht.
    11" load ht.

    looking good on the ride height after a few days.
