I had heard at one point in time that a Tri-Power Intake from a 322 Nailhead would or could be made to fit a 364. Is this correct? If so, what modifications if any are involved?

    Thanks guys and gals. :3gears:

The manifold would have to be made wider, for sure, maybe using the intake port ends of a 364 manifold spliced onto the center section of the early manifold. The 364 is a 322 with a taller block (deck height) and a few modifications. The 401/425's are tall deck 364's, that is why heads, cams etc will exchange. Too much trouble for Me.

It is adaptable but not worth the effort. You can widen the holes for the intake bolts but the ports will not line up. If I had one for a 322 I would sell it and buy a correct one for the 364. I know the 364 intake is fairly available. I sold an old one last year with 97's on it. I have seen several on ebay since then. You will find them drilled for the 3 or 4 bolt carbs. I believe they are still available new. My 2001 Hot Rod and Custom Supply catalog has the Offenhauser 3 deuce intake for $255.00. Here is their web site. http://www.rodncustom.com/
They have some Nailhead stuff you don't normally see.

    Good Luck, John
