Anyone know where to get one. All the parts houses say unavailable. I got one from Rock auto but I think its for a 350. The bolt holes to mount to the crossmember were smaller and the mount is taller. I installed it anyway but my fan rubs on the bottom of the shroud. Seems like a smaller mount would tilt the motor back and fix my rubbing problem. Naturally I tossed the original one.
    Thanks

Matt- Im pretty sure I have a new 4 speed mount somewhere in the depths of my basement. It has the one bolt through the crossmember right?

I'll dig it out tomorrow and take a picture of it. If its the right one, its yours.

Thanks Jason but it has 2 holes where it mounts to the crossmember.

Are you sure you can't get them from the autoparts stores? I bought one for my car (455) from my local autozone.

    Len,
Any chance you have the part number? I called autozone, advanced O'riellys, carcraft, and napa they all said not available.

    Scott,
Thats great information, thanks. The one I have in there looks like those but it is an anchor #2394. I'll start calling with those part #'s.

Got it, installed it, perfect! So how come you can get these part numbers but the boneheads at 4 different parts stores cant? Whats your secret?

    Google. :)

Actually there are some really good parts interchange and parts search engines on the rockauto, carparts.com and napa-online websites. A copy of a Pioneer parts catalog was the starting point.

Actually a sense of panic had set in when I read your first post, because like you, I had also thrown away my original 4-speed mount thinking "I won't need this, I can get one anywhere".

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner; glad to see others gave you the information.
