transmission lines

    I need new lines fro my 400/455 combo- auto parts stores here dont carry them- what's my next best option?

    Do you know what size threads has to go on each end pf the braided line?

    Screw in hose ends from the hardware store, and a few feet of hi-pressure hi temp rubber line... Old racers trick. Makes R&R a snap. Just secure it to the frame with some zip ties.

    That's the quickest, cheapest, easiest way... Unless your wanting a factory look.

    Some trannies are different than others. You will have to see what your is. Take the brass fittings out of your trans and see if they are pipe thread or do they seat with a copper gasket. I have trannies with both styles. Summit or Jegs will have the fittings you need. Also trans braided line is different than fuel line.

    Speaking of fuel lines- At what 1/4 mile time or horsepower rating would you guys say that the stock fuel lines are too small?
    In other words-at what level do i need to avoid using stock fuel lines?
