    Anybody got one for a 65 to Chevy automatic they want a get rid of?

    id say you need to pony up for a new one ive seen one sell used in my time on here.

    Good for you, your luck was in. I tried here some time ago to get one with no results. Those Bendtsens kits are expensive for my 1959 engine. At the time it was going to cost me about A$1300 all up with shipping + taxes to get one here. With the current exchange rate it's now closer to A$1700
    I did manage to get a kit but it was made by ?? It did not fit like I wanted so I had to do a lot of modifying to make it fit. Hope it works out OK as I have not yet tested it.

    The 65 kit will work on earlier 401/ 425 if you get a 65 flexplate and modify it and get / make a torque converter drive plate. You also have to use the 65 starter motor.
