The only adapters on today's market that bolt to a nailhead are designed to bolt to a Chevy Transmission. The Caddy probably has the BOP pattern. Unless you build the adapter yourself, you're out of luck for the time being.

The Caddy transmission is more than likely a TH400. Luckily the 64-66 Nailhead transmissions are TH400's (Buick called them ST400's) the latter two years come equipped with a variable pitch torque converter. Much easier swap and you'll wind up with the same results. The Caddy engine and trans can both go into your hot rod.

    thank you nailhead nut,
the caddy is said to have wires coming out of it, so i thought it might have a switch pitch too. i thought some caddys used the buick trans....

All TH (ST) 400's have an electric kickdown (passing gear) so there would be a wire hanging from it. Telling if the trans is a switch pitch or not is easy. If the sender on the driver's side of the transmission has two terminals (wires) on it, it is a s/p transmission. A single terminal (wire) is for a kick down only. I think that '67 was the last year for the s/p transmissions in the GM lineup.
