We are putting a TH400 in a 68 lark that a 2 speed came out of. There seems to be a black/white wire that comes out of the firewall into the 2 speed, but yet the switch on the gas pedal has no wire going to it or coming from it. How do we hook this up?
    Thanks,
    Jon

TH 400 has electric kick down. There should be a switch mounted to the gas pedal assembly that has two contacts. The power is supplied on one side of the switch from the radio (yellow) power wire via tap. Black / white heads out the fire wall and eventually connects to the kick down solenoid on the trans. Your trans will have two terminals on it, and the top one should be the kick down. When energized woith 12 volts. you will hear a faint click sound.
