Im going to replace my 5/16" steel tranny cooling lines with some #6 braided line. How much line do you think am going to need? Do you think two 5' pieces will do? Should I run it inside the frame? Any tips on mounting the cooler? I really dont want to drill any holes if I can help it. Right now the cooler is mounted to the cross bars with line clamps.
Get the cooler mounting kit that holds thru the rad. I bought a 20' roll myself. On my 65 I couldn't route it thru because 64-67 A frame is blocked off near the front wheel. But it looks sweet nicely tucked together from the tranny to the cooler. Just looks trick, braided stuff.
