Exactly how do you plan to get a torque wrench on those header bolts? Jim Burek

I hope to get a tourque wrench on the easy front and top bolts with an extension? Then at least I can feel what 25 ft. pounds feels like for the other bolts. Or should I go with the advice of a friend of mine who has the same headers on his 455??? He said "crank em down as tight as ya can" I think he's the same guy that's in the Dodge commercial---- "that there thing got a hemi" HA HA

I've been told that you do not need to "crank 'em down" real tight. You just have to get them good and snug. Then check them in a week or two and retighten. Then maybe once every couple of months, if it's driven regularly.

wow... so torqueing the replacement grade 8 bolts to the grade 8 recomendation of 55 ft lbs was a bit much for my manifold on my 350?
