    I haven't weighed my car yet, but I figure it's in the 3600 - 3700lb range.

Now that it's all together and we are starting to sort it out at the track, the rear seems stiff (ladder bar/coil over setup).

The spring rate of the springs I have are rated "200" = 1600 - 1800 lbs (total weight on rear wheels).

Should I go with something "softer" for better weight transfer?

Thanks for any insight or shared combos.

    You're right,I run the 170# springs......
Without seeing your car leave the line I would be skeptical about any significant gains in this area.
You say the car went 1.44 60' the first time out,That is pretty good and would cause me to look at the Engine for more ET.
    Jetting,Carb Spacer,Timing,Etc...

I would also say to weigh the Car asap......I'm usually as anxious to know the weight of a Car as I am to know what it runs.

    Sounds good Gary.

Last Sunday we had crappy weather conditions (hot, humid, 25MPH head winds) as well as being at a different track. I did manage a 1.49 60' and a 11.15 run though. It looked like a lot of guys were .5 secs off.

I've got a Dominator (instead of the 4150) to try as well as trying some different spacer (with/without) and jetting combos.

From reading the plugs (pulled immediately after the run), we advanced timing to 36 degrees. Unfortunately we stripped out the distributer hold down too which basically ended the day.

I'm going to "stud" it tonight as well as weighing it the next time out.

Unfortunately Norwalk is still looking iffy for me.

    Thanks for the advice.
