Working one piece at a time, but now done. Replaced all springs, bushings/sleeves, added disc brakes and boxed in the rear control arms. Any way, what is the torque value on the control arm bolts besides "tight"? I wish there was a reference sheet or something cause I don't feel like paying 70 bucks for an old book.

Well I have one of those old books for 70 Buicks. actually if your serious about working on these cars, it's a must have. They have them on CD ROM which should be cheaper. If you tell me exactly what you need, I'll look it up.

Front lower control Arm to frame- Nut- 80 Ft lbs, bolt- 110 ft lbs

Rear upper, and lower control arm- same

Torque them with the suspension in curb load position.

This is for a 70 A body car (GS or Skylark)

You are awsome, thanks. I know it would be most helpful to have one but when it comes down to dollars, it makes more "cents" to spend the money where it really counts. You have all been there. Looking forward to meeting a lot of people here.

One more thing, as soon as I figure this site out, I will post my progress. I wish I took more photos, my car sat in a garage for about 15 years till I got it from the original owner. It had 32k on the original 350, I decided to increase the cubes and beef things up where the engineers left off.
