Well I figured out some of my issues with the riv today. It's been leaning out, because the bolts backed out of the intake gasket. I currently have the gasket off, cleaned it up alittle, honed the runners etc.... but do I need to use different torque settings for the aluminum manifold? Do I need stainless bolts instead of the original ones to make it hold? I'd rather not use locktite if I can help it, but if it's a must OK. Anyone else have issues? any suggestions? Jason
Jason, I use locktite anywhere vibrations could loosen the bolts. With intakes , I like to retorque the bolts after running the engine the first time. I havent had any problems with removing bolts that were previously locktited in. Good luck, Frank
