I did not want to do this, but after a very long process, 5 weeks, many emails excuses, and rude customer service manager I thought I would pass my story along. I do not want any one else to not be aware of the potentioal problems with tThis seller :af: Tool warehouse Toolleader had a HVLP spray gun up for auction, I was out bid with a few second left. No big deal, then they send me a second chance offer within minutes, so I take it go to pay pal and pay for the spray gun. All set they send me an email stating they will ship the gun and let me know when. A week later I send an Email wondering if it shipped, no dice the last spray gun they had did not have a regulator, could not ship it, a new shipment is coming in at the end of the week, they will include a pencil torch for my inconvenience, Ok I wait a week for the new shipment, I send an email checking and the shipment came in but the spray can was dented so they could not ship. I will need to wait for the next order to come in. another week. I am still waiting and they send me a note saying I should have recieved my order by now and if I leave them good feed back they will leave good feedback. So I respond that I could not beleive they send me that note and I have not even received my package and as far as feedback . If I leave bad feedback so will they, even if it is not deserved. The customer service manager sent me a note telling me I should be greatful for the gift and stop complaining. They were actually doing me a favor my making sure everthing on my order was correct, and I did not pay very much so I should stop complaining. Remember I still have not received the my package. I checked on my order and was told it would ship by the end of the week, still no shipment notice. so I check again the following week and find out it finally shipped. 5 weeks later I have my spray gun, OH Yah and my fancy new pencil torch. The spray gun is ok for what I paid. But their service is terrible and the manager is rude. I deffinatley would not reccommend this group, Now compare this to Harbor freight sander I ordered the same night, and received withing 4 days. Joe
sometimes these type of auction ending actions are scams to get your highest bid ..... lets say the opening bid was 10 bux and you bid 25 because that is what you are willing to pay. you set there at 10 bux until the last second when a bidder outbids your 25 dollar max by the 50 cent or dollar increment (what ever it is). then the seller sends you a second chance offer to sell the item for your second place bid of 25 bux (when you should have won the auction for 10 bux). the seller who has either a second account or friend willing to out bid you at the end have caused you to pay more than you should have. is this close to what could have happened in your case?
i had the same thing happen on an auction from egay.i think the sellers dont stock the items,just order them after you buy it :af: mine was rude also & NO scooby snack for me o No:
They are Middlemen They are part of the "GET RICH QUICK DEAL" that you see all the infomerical talking about! :af: They set you up with a supply company at a discount rate and they place an order after you win the bid! I would be careful when someone offeres me a second chance offer so fast! I had to learn the hard my myself for a simple 1/2" breaker bar! It took me three months before I got it. Also NEVER NEVER NEVER leave feedback until you get your Item! It was a scam a few years back by a few Ebay dealers that would ask you to Leave feedback before you got your Items and then you NEVER got the items, When you would complain to ebay they( the seller) would say they shipped it and that you left feedback about it! Ebay will tell you the same thing, LEAVE FEEDBACK when you GET the item "IF" you want too, You don't have leave feedback it is just a nice thing to do,but not mandatory! I feel that once you have paid they should leave feedback right away that is what you are being judged for in your Part of the deal, and not wait for what you say in your feedback! Ebay is not fair in that department!!!! :af: :moonu: :blast: , I have been burned a few times, I would leave feedback and would never get any from the person that I bought from and would be ignored when I would ask them to leave feedback for me! last minute out bid yes the out bid was the last minute. The totoal was only $14.99 Plus $15.00 for shipping. and I did not leave feedback until I received the item. and I beleive they did not order the item until I took the second chance offer. and for $30 I was willing to chance it. I was going to order more but decided not to until the first transaction was completed successfully. well I guess there wont be a second order.
