Too much brakes

I have a '65 Wildcat chassis (401 engine) with a '50 Super body. Nice big drums all 'round. Switched from stock single reservoir M/C to a unit for a mid 70's LeSabre. Bled the system and all seems fine. When I backed out of the garage, the wheels literally lock up when I apply the brakes. @10mph, the lightest pressure on the pedal almost puts me through the windshield. I understand that this M/C is for front discs, and I believe the rear brakes work ok-not locking up. What can I do to remedy the excessive grab in the front?
    (besides switching to front discs)

Swapping to a drum brake master cylinder would be way easier than swapping to discs.

You may need to isolate front & rear brakes now that you have a dual system master. The discs take much more fluid to operate than the drums, which also
requires a proportioning valve. After-market adjustable valves are easy to source.

Yeah, definately sending more fluid to the fronts now than before. I'm not sure a porportioning valve would solve that, if anything make it worse by making the rears grab first, then locking up the fronts, IMO. I could be wrong about that though. Backing off the adjustment some in the fronts might crutch it some by requiring more fluid to contact the drum.

I'd be looking for a drum/drum master from a late sixties car.
