David Nelson Dies, Tony Dow Taken Into Protective Custody AP: California David Nelson, who essentially played himself as the eldest child in the iconic American television series The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, died today at the age of 74. He was the last surviving member of the Nelson TV family. Doctors have told reporters that Nelson died of complications from colon cancer, the result of a lifetime of drinking warm Coke, but the mysterious presence of police investigators at the scene suggests a more complicated set of circumstances. Further fueling suspicion is news that Tony Dow, who played Wally Cleaver on Leave It To Beaver, has been taken into protective custody. Police are also seeking Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on Leave It To Beaver, as a "person of interest" in this baffling case.
I used to love that show when I was a kid. David was my age and it seem like I could relate to a lot of what went on. David lived a much more reserved personal life than his little brother Ricky. Sorry to hear of Davids passing. Bob H.
I have never heard about that show. But after seeing this video, I think that the photo of the rabbit with the pancake is more fun to watch...... <iframe width="640" height="480" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uuz7ZEleDeM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
