Quick question - what height tire would've been standard on the mid-70's Electras/LeSabres, etc. I don't need exact; just a ballpark...

    Gear ratio's typically 2.70 - 2.90 range I'm guessing?

    Thanks

Let's try this a different direction -- what was the typical tire size? Equivalent of a 225/75R15? 235/75?

Still curious on the typical gear ratio too...

    thanks

75-76 Electras and Rivieras used a JR78-15 tire. It had a 28.58" height.

Closest match would be a 225 or 235/75R-15 at 28.2" and 28.9" respectively.

Standard axle ratio for 76 Electra was a 2.56 I believe
