What's the recommended or minimum tire - frame clearance? I'd like to have an inch but if a bit less is Ok... With 10" wheel and 5" offset, including tire bulge on a 12.4 section width I'll have 1". With the same wheel/tire and 5.5" backspacing it'll be 1/2" clearance. Thanks.
I'm running 15x10's with 5.5" backspacing and 325/50R15 DragRadials. They have a 12.9" section width. I have about 3/8" ot 1/2" clearance on the inside and have never had an issue of rubbing. And I take them off several times a year to put on the slicks and have checked.
