I ordered a gasket kit for my 455 and they sent composite intake gaskets with a little note that said to trim the valley pan out of the old tin gasket to use with the new ones. Problem is I don't have an old gasket. If I'm going to pay $27.00 for a new tin gasket should I just use it and send the composite ones back? Are the composite ones that much better?

    Thanks again

We sell an aluminum drop in reuseable valley pan gasket so you don't have to cut up a valley pan .
