Absolutely! Even years ago when we first got the Buick, group 60s were hard to find. Dad had a couple of Cadillacs that used group 27s. And his Lincolns used 27F Batteries. I remember putting the 27s in the Buick. In anticipation that they wouldn't have a 60, I took my spare battery hold down top bracket with me to NAPA. I asked, do you have a group 60 battery? No group 60 in stock. Well let's see if this battery hold down will fit a 27. It fits!! So I bolted in the group 27 . And she fires right up on the first try!! After sitting for three days!! I drove around the neighborhood for a few minutes. Then took her up on the highway and into town . The Roadmaster is running so good and rearing to go, I drove around for an hour . I opened it up on the highway , I love the way the old nailhead pulls with the Dynaflow.
