What's an easy cost effective way of getting seats..?
My Lark has a bench seat with armrest..Can I get some buckets for it without having to change the seat mounts??
Would it be cheaper to just recover the seats??
On average what does it cost to get a front bench and rear seats covered with average plain jain type pattern.. ?
MY headliner is coming apart at the seams in the back also.
Is all this an easy undertaking for shade-tree knuckleheads..?
    Thnx
    Just wieghing out my options..
I don't want a pimped out retro-alien-esk design or anything, just something clean and presentable.

Bucket seats require special seat mounts. You need the good kit that has an inner mount for each seat and an outer mount that fits just the front outer hole on each side. The only hole that is used on both is the rear outer bolt on both sides. All other areas have a threaded stud. Check Legendary for seat covers they have most original patterns. There are as many prices for installations as well as shops. Just be prepared to spend several hundred and maybe have to replace foam as well. If you want buckets all GM A body cars have basically same frame from 69-72. Only seat patterns are different. ALso the seat mounts for buckets need to be welded in. You are looking at some work. Do not just bolt them to the floor.

yeah i think i should stay with the bench. As long as the Armrest is down ya stay kinda snug.
Looks like it would be cheaper to have them recovered anyways.
Maybe even save a lil by just removing the the seats and delivering them to the guy. Besides the headliner around the rear window and the carpet on the doorpanels everything else is fine. the ashtrays have never been used but the seats are all split up. looks like a dog tried diggin for gold by the rear window on the seat top. ive been putting my IAM union Hat on the blemish so passerbys cant see it LOL :Brow:
Looks like the car had a housecall from teh ductape doctor. I'm redy to relive my childhood. :pp

im gona check out legendary tonight thnx.
