I want to replace the dash and radio stickers with new reproduction sticjers, but I need to remove the chrome plastic rings under the light and radio knobs. How do I get the rings and knobs off so I can put the repro stickers on and back on without damaging things. I am always paranoid about removing anything for fear of breaking a hard to find part. Thanks for the help
The radio knobs just pull off. Same for the escutchons (sp?) under them. The cigarette lighter one unscrews. Your going to have to go behind the instrument cluster and hold the back part of the lighter assy while your unscrewing. The headlight switch is a little harder. See George's website here He's got a good picture of the little button you need to depress to remove the knob.

Just be careful when replacing the one for your climate controls.There is a thin strip underneath where your temp,lever is that can be kind of a booger to get in that small crevice without messing up.Just take your time and have patience.Good Luck !!!
