May be possible....just compare length from mounting position under speedo to the end of shaft where it connects to the intermediate shaft.

    Thanks George. :beers2:
I'm waiting on some measurements right now. The upper mount looks to be removable, or at least adjustable. :TU:

The upper "U" mount is fixed to the column with 4 screws.....some mounts have slightly different positions (holes) to mount to the metal dash structure.

Critical dimension is the one I stated previously.

    Hey Robert,
I can check this out, but one critical item is the steering wheel- the control of the telescoping function that locks it is part of the hub and takes a different wheel. How do I know? I bought a Tilt/Tele 66 column for my '66 Fleetwood Brougham and got the really nice but wrong wheel. I still have the column though. May be able to take some pics-hafta find the thing.\

I think you will be okay with the wheel......use the Corvette set-up....will be the same 3 spoke sport steering wheel. So, swap out the Cad set-up and install the Vette set-up....will look great.

    Re: Everyone's Input

Thank you everyone for your thoughts on the subject. :beers2:
The lock ring is that chrome 'crown' in the center of the steering wheel, Ted.
One more thing, George; there's no intermediate shaft on either my 65 or on that Caddy column either. Also, it's the Caddy column that has the 'sliding' attachment under the dash.
Does anyone have a 65 or 66 Wildcat or Electra column that is out of the car right now to measure the total length of for me? I need to know how long it is from right under the steering wheel to the bottom end of the outer tube and then how much length of the inner shaft sticks out from the bottom end of that outer tube.

The full size models should share the same column....and they should interchange. I do know on the 71-76 models...they will interchange t/t and standard columns.
