will a 1969 Buick Riviera tilt steering column (floor shift) fit my 1970 Buick GS (floor shift)?

    No, not even close

You need a column from 69-72 A-body such as Skylark, Cutlass, LeMans and Chevelle. Also, 69-72 Grand Prix and 70-2 Monte Carlo will also work.

The '69-72 Pontiac & Chevy A-body tilt columns do not have the fishmouth cut in the lower bowl. This relief was there for clearance reasons at the dash bezel on Olds & Buick A-bodys.

Best bet is '69-72 Buick A-body floorshift with a green tilt ign switch if the Skylark/GS is a '69 or '70. Also, the '70 Skylark turn signal lever is different than one used on '71-72 Skylark, not always a big deal, but not always that easy to find in nice used shape.
