I am very impressed with both Ground Up Restorations ( www.ss396.com ) and Inline Tube (www.inlinetube.com)
After checking on this site, I decided to go with the body mounts from Ground Up Restorations and new fuel and brake lines from Inline Tubing. I ordered from both companies on Wed. 8-10-05. Received the body mounts on Friday 8-12-05 and the stuff from Inline today (Tuesday 8-16). I feel this was great service, the prices were very competitive and the products look great. The tubing has all the bends, spring and cloth coverings. I would recommend both companies.

Never used the one but can certianly agree with you on inline tube. All new tubing for my ragtop and the parts were very well made and fit great. Rubber caps on the ends of each pice were a nice touch. packaged well and shipped fast. Nice to deal with as well. :TU:

I had a terrible experience with Inline Tube who forgot to include in a shipment one of the two items ( about a $25 item) and refused to either send the item or take it off the bill. The sales people and their manager said they do not make shipping mistakes. I had to contest it with the credit card company. During that contest they continued to take the same position of no mistakes. I sent an email to the company owner explaining that I was a longtime customer and I do not need their money, but he never responded. I now buy from Classic Tube.

Every time I see someonew praise Inline Tube I think well I did too until they made a mistake on an order.

Jim, I can identify. Sent me a hard top brake line in a convertible kit. It sat in my garage for a year before i went to install it and realised it was wrong. Of course they wouldnt exhange it. When I got the replacement it had the wrong fitting, so I had to chane it, PITA on stainless steel. Then they left out the 2 clips for the brake cable/control arm. Said it was not part of the "kit" and they cost $10. I can swallow that but another $10 to ship it!!
Anyway sorry to hijack the post I just needed to vent. I will say that when I finally got the correct parts it was a breeze to install (bare frame) and looks great.

PS Anyone need a hard top brake line?

    Brake lines...

I ordered my brake lines from 'The Right Stuff' .....while they had some difficulty getting me the correct parts (wrong rear brake lines :Dou: , fuel line 1.75" too short  , a stainless line instead of a standard steel  ), their customer service has been fantastic! They were quick to 'make it right', and replacements arrived within days.
BTW, their stainless lines use steel fittings, not stainless....

Ground Up has been great!.....maybe if we bug them enough, they'll put out a Buick catalog????? :Brow:
