Where can I find a throttle return spring for a 70 GS455? It has the original Quadrajet on it as well as stock intake manifold. The linkage all seems fine and doesn't appear to be sticking. The spring is weak and will not return to idle and even while driving I have to tap the accelerator to bring it to idle position, sort of acts like a mini-cruise control. Are throttle return springs available aftermarket that would work on the 70 model 455???
Autozone one has them in the Help section. There's a package of assorted throttle springs. Use two of them together one inside the other.
