There was a plug a couple inches in that someone tried to drill out. They called the owner to come look at it. He told me he had called a pan manufacturer that assured him they made a pan that would fit chassis+ carry its own dipstick. They used a rod I keep to remove galley plugs and after whacking it the plug came out. Then the bore was tapped and plugged at both ends then tested.

The inner spring on the 1125 won't clear the guides as shown. More machine work is needed to remove the bottom step.Use the Plus springs and sell 1125.

They cut od of the guides smaller to clear those type of springs.....the cut the down vertically to clear the lift required depending on cam and retainers.

You cam doesn't need as much spring as the 1125. You can run a big ass cam under the stage1 plus.....my custom ground comp was over .570 lift and over 250 duration at .050 if i recall. I won't be actually able to check specs for more than another week as I'm locked to my house since my wife has come down covid from her job as an er nurse.

Holy crap Ben hopefully you and the family stay safe and get better! As for the heads I'm really leaning towards trying to get a pair of TA SE1 aluminum heads. If that doesn't work out I'll probably just clean up the 72 heads I have on my motor right now and run them for the time being until I can get a set of aluminum. I will be selling the TA 1125 Springs shortly I bought them from another member on here they've never been used.
