i didnt know where the best place to ask this question would be but i found an 87 lesabre t-type that says is in good condition. do they have any performance feel at all? it would probably just be my ride to and from school but looking for something fun at the same time. thanks, Joel
Look out for the tranny. See if its been rebuilt. Get records if you can. Take your time driving it so you can feel out the tranny. I can't emphasize this enough. Tranny Tranny Tranny. As for performance, the 3800s run pretty darn good! Plenty fast for commuting.
I agree with Dan. Watch out for the tranny. My brother-in-law has an 87 Lesabre t-type and the tranny went... It's now sitting in his driveway... Estimates for a rebuild were extremely high! Tom :TU:
